Emilie Burgin Williams

Emilie has been a resident of McDowell County since she was born. One of the biggest reasons she appreciates the county is the people. Growing up in this community has taught her many life values and has given her a love for the people. Being in McDowell County for so many years has allowed her to connect with the community and she will help you connect as well.

She graduated from McDowell Tech with an Associates of Arts and then transferred to Montreat College to finish her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In her spare time, she spends it taking care of her beloved horses and working with kids in a program called Hope 29:11. The program focuses on teaching children responsibility and brings them closer to people in the community. Emilie understands the value of a home, the memories that will be made there.
